But when Sherman takes the WABAC out for a joyride to impress his friend Penny, they accidentally rip a hole in the universe, wreaking havoc on the most important events in world history. Before they forever alter the past, present and future, Mr. Peabody must come to their rescue, ultimately facing the most daunting challenge of any era: figuring out how to be a parent. Together, the time traveling trio will make their mark on history.

Review: Adorable, educational and fun are the perfect words to describe this animated time-travel adventure. Based on the colourful characters from 'Peabody's Improbable History', which was ran as individual segment of cartoon classic 'The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show', the animated update set up the time-travel element as a smart outlet for the characters to venture in and out exploring different historical periods. As a result, the journey turns out to be a wacky one as the characters were randomly thrown into different eras, meeting all kinds of significant figures from the past and stirring up all kinds of mayhem and ripples that could only be explained by the ever mind-boggling concept of time-space continuum. While the timeline is established in a linear manner, the highlights remained to be the lively animated sequences and the character designs, specifically Peabody and Sherman's cute and petite physical attributes. A flick loaded with good ol' fun and nostalgia that's sure to not only bring in the kids, but the old-fashioned demographics too.

Rating: 4/5 Stars
