Synopsis
With all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, "Big Hero 6" is an action-packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius-thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiroturns to his closest companion-a robot named Baymax-and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery.

Review
Fun and energetic, the supposed Marvel comic-based animation has lent so little reputation from the comic giant itself that its characters are felt to be Disney's original creation. Like a typical Disney animation, this flick contains all the basic parts of a year-end holiday treat - there are colourful characters, light-hearted moments, valuable lessons and then there's Baymax, a character that'll sure help Disney generate profitable tonnes of moolah through toys and merchandise. Apart from that, one thing I enjoy throughout the film is the fictional setting of San Fransokyo - a genius amalgamation of San Francisco and Tokyo, a utopia inhabited by cross-cultural denizens of Western and Asian roots. Next, Baymax, the highlight of the film, shines with its lovable traits.
